An artist with a passion for printmaking, Stacey Bradley is the founder of perla anne. This stylish hand-printed greeting card company originated in 1997 under the name of Me and C, when Stacey began creating custom cards with drawings inspired by her three-year-old daughter and one true love, Cierah. After developing an obsession with vintage textiles and patterns, Stacey introduced bolder design elements into her line, and in 2003, the company was renamed perla anne. The new label, named in honor of her mother, reflects Stacey's unique design approach. Both the Cierah and Wallpaper Collections illustrate the fine art of printmaking while showcasing playful designs, bold colors and a fresh authentic style.
Stacey has an extensive design background, having attended the Dallas School of Art and Design and studying advanced printmaking techniques in classrooms in Dallas and New Orleans. She was the house artist for Tower Records in New Orleans from 1989 to 1992, where she was responsible for creating three-dimensional display work for local bands and music artists such as the Neville Brothers. In 1993, Stacey moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where she managed the contemporary furniture and home accessories store, Metropolitan Deluxe until April of 2004. She now dedicates her time solely to perla anne.
Stacey still lives in Charleston with her daughter, Cierah, husband, Jay Clifford, lead singer of the indie-rock band Jump Little Children, and their dog, Cash.
